General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Welcome to our Terms and Conditions page.
These conditions have been drawn up to help you make the right choices for all bookings made in our Villages.
These conditions apply to all INSPIRE Villages establishments.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Reservations can be made by telephone, by post or via the internet on the INSPIRE Villages group websites. All bookings must be accompanied by a payment according to the tariff group chosen:
- IMBATTABLE Offer:
Payment of 100% of the total price at the time of booking with no possibility of refund
- FLEXIBLE Offer:
Payment of 30% of the total price of your rental and any additional services at the time of booking.
The balance of the stay will be debited 21 days before the arrival date. No deduction will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
We offer several secure payment methods, as follows:
- by cheque. Cheques not sent by recorded delivery and not received by the establishment are the responsibility of the customer.
- by credit card;
- by bank transfer;
- by vacation vouchers (no change will be given if the total amount of the is higher than the total price of the reservation). Cheques not sent by registered post and not received by the village are the responsibility of the customer.
Payment by credit card is irrevocable, except in the event of fraudulent use of the card. In this case, the customer may request cancellation of the payment and return of the corresponding sums.
If payment is made by cheque, it must be issued by a bank domiciled in mainland France.
Cheques are cashed on receipt. Any delay in payment will automatically result in the application of a fixed penalty of forty (40) Euros. In addition, Inspire Villages reserves the right, in the event of non-compliance with the above payment conditions, to cancel the provision of the Services booked by the customer.
Payments made by the customer will only be considered final once the amounts due have been effectively cashed by the establishment. Each payment must be accompanied by the file reference as it appears on the establishment's reservation confirmation.
In the case of a reservation via a partner reservation center, the partner's reservation terms and conditions apply.
In accordance with article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, we inform you that accommodation services, which must be provided on a specific date or for a specific period, are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Some of our establishments require a deposit to be sent before the stay or at the latest on arrival. The deposit is returned at the end of the stay, or at the latest 7 days after the end of the stay, after checking that the accommodation is in good condition. In the event of damage, loss or theft during your stay, the management reserves the right to withhold all or part of the deposit, depending on the cost of repair or replacement.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
Any booking of more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are traveling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay at the same establishment is considered a group. The accommodation offered on the INSPIRE Villages website is exclusively intended for individual customers. For all group reservation requests, you must contact the desired establishment by telephone or email. The establishment contacted reserves the right to examine the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.
RATES
The rates or information published on our websites are basic rates and do not include optional services (texts and photos are non-contractual). The price agreed at the time of booking includes VAT. The contractual price may be subject to change within the legal and regulatory limits, in the event of variations in applicable VAT rates, between the date of booking and the date of payment of the balance.
INSPIRE Villages applies dynamic pricing. As a result, rates may vary during the season, both upwards and downwards.
Partner benefits and promotions cannot be applied to a booking already paid for in full or in part.
Depending on the INSPIRE Villages establishment, service charges may be applied to bookings.
TOURIST TAXES
Tourist tax rates vary according to commune and country. The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the communes and may be increased by an additional departmental tax.
The cost of the tourist tax is likely to change during the year, and may therefore have an upward or downward impact on the total amount of the stay.
HOUSING CAPACITY
A dwelling is intended for a specific number of occupants. Under no circumstances may it be occupied by more people (including children and babies). In the latter case, the village manager has the right to refuse any additional persons.
Minors not accompanied by their parents or legal guardians may not be admitted.
HOUSING FEATURES
Plans and photos of accommodation are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding. The layout and characteristics of the rooms may vary from one model to another.
Please refer to the written description of the layout available on the accommodation page for the exact composition of each accommodation.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Arrival in the cottages is from 4pm and departure before 10am.
Each cottage contains all kitchen and table equipment, as well as bedding (with the exception of sheets and towels).
Any dissatisfaction concerning the state of cleanliness or the general condition of the cottage must be notified no later than 24 hours after arrival, to enable us to remedy the situation. No complaint will be accepted more than 24 hours after the day of arrival.
All customers are required to comply with the campsite's house rules, which are displayed at reception, and are responsible for any disturbance caused by persons staying with them. Serious breaches of these rules may result in expulsion.
PETS
Pets are accepted in our establishments (except categories 1 and 2), subject to presentation of up-to-date vaccination certificates and payment of an additional fee at the time of booking. Please note that rabies vaccination is mandatory. Depending on the establishment, some accommodations may not be suitable for pets. Information concerning pets is available and must be obtained directly from each establishment.
MODIFICATION, INTERRUPTION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
At the time of booking, it is possible to subscribe to different tariff groups which offer you their own booking conditions in terms of modifying and cancelling your stay.
Changing your booking
IMBATTABLE offer:
If you have subscribed to the IMBATTABLE offer, you can no longer modify your reservation once it has been validated.
FLEXIBLE offer:
If you have subscribed to the FREEDOM offer, you can modify your stay under the following conditions:
- Up to 21 days before arrival, the stay can be modified free of charge if it takes place during the current season.
- The stay can be postponed to new dates (within the same season) within the same establishment.
- Any difference in price at the time of the modification between the old and the new stay will be charged to the customer. If the new stay turns out to be less expensive than the old one, the difference will not be reimbursed.
- From 20 days before arrival and for any stay already started, the stay can no longer be modified.
- Any request to increase the length of your stay will be carried out according to availability and current rates.
- Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation and interruption of stay.
- For any request to modify your stay, contact the establishment in which you have booked.
Cancellation of your reservation
IMBATTABLE offer:
If you have subscribed to the IMBATTABLE offer, you cannot cancel your reservation once it has been validated.
FLEXIBLE offer:
Up to 21 days before arrival, the stay can be cancelled. The payment of the 30% of the stay made at the time of booking is not refundable as a cancellation fee.
From 20 days before arrival and for any stay started, no refund can be made on the total amount of the stay.
Deadlines are calculated on the date of receipt of a request email or letter.
No cancellation insurance is offered in our establishments.
Cancellation by the establishment
Inthe event of cancellation by the establishment, except in cases of force majeure, the Service will be reimbursed by bank transfer, within 60 days of cancellation by the establishment.
This cancellation may not give rise to the payment of damages.
Nevertheless, provided that the applicable legislation allows it the establishment reserves the right to reimburse the customer in any other form (in particular, a credit note).
COVID-19 - Specific conditions
If you or one of the participants in the stay find yourself in one of the following situations related to COVID-19 and you no longer meet the cancellation conditions stipulated by your rate group, you will be granted a non-refundable credit note, valid for 12 months:
- You are in a confinement zone that prevents you from going to the campsite, or the border is closed;
- The campsite is in a confinement zone or is closed by government decision;
- Someone on your trip has tested positive for COVID-19 (with proof).
Unused services
Any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) due to your fault will not be reimbursed.
BORDER CROSSING FORMALITIES
For stays abroad, each customer must have a valid identity card, passport and/or visa, depending on the destination. We therefore advise you to check the validity of these documents for all travelers, as well as your insurance, before you leave.
RESPONSIBILITY
INSPIRE Villages cannot be held responsible for false, misleading or erroneous information mentioned in catalogs or on partner websites, in particular presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure activities, services and dates of operation.
INSPIRE Villages declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, damage to property or vehicles, etc., as well as for accidents involving the civil responsibility of the customer or another customer. In the event of an accident for which the customer or another customer is liable.
DISPUTE
Contact the establishment where you stayed
If, despite our best efforts to ensure your complete satisfaction, you have a complaint during your stay in one of our establishments, we ask you to immediately inform the person in charge of reception on site, who will endeavor to provide you with a response.
Contact a mediator
In the event of a dispute which has not been resolved by the establishment where you stayed, any customer of the village may refer the matter to a consumer mediator, within a maximum period of one year. If the dispute remains unresolved, the consumer may refer the matter, in accordance with the provisions of article R.631-3 of the French Consumer Code, either one of the courts having territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure, or the court for the place where the consumer lived when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the customer expressly authorizes INSPIRE Villages, free of charge, to photograph or film the customer during their stay and to use the photos, videos or sounds in any medium for a period of 5 years. This authorization also applies to all persons staying with the customer. The purpose of this authorization is to promote our establishments nationally and internationally on our websites, brochures, Facebook, Instagram, commercial presentations and in tourist guides.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM
In compliance with the provisions of the amended French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the automated processing of personal data carried out on this website has been declared to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), which has issued a receipt under number 1691887.
The user is hereby informed that, in accordance with article 32 of the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, the information communicated by the user via the forms on the site is required to respond to his/her request and is intended for the website operator, who is responsible for processing it for administrative and commercial management purposes.
