Privacy policy
At Inspire Villages, we love our customers and we give back. So, as part of the General Data Protection Regulation-RGPD governing all European Union countries since May 2018, we are committed to respecting your privacy and, as such, protecting the confidentiality of your personal data.
Inspire and the harvesting of your data
When you browse the Inspire Villages website, when you make a reservation online or by phone, when you decide to subscribe to our newsletter or when you fill in the satisfaction questionnaire following your stay: all these actions are opportunities for us to collect some of your personal data.
‍
The data we collect comes from 2 sources:
‍
1. Information you freely consent to give us
When you make a reservation, you agree to provide us with some of your personal data:
- Your contact details : surname, first name, date and place of birth, postal address, e-mail, landline telephone number, fax number, mobile telephone number, identity card/passport number, vehicle registration plate;
- Details of any persons accompanying you on your holiday (with whose prior consent you undertake to obtain): surname, first name, date and place of birth;
- Your payment details: method of payment, amount paid.
2The information we collect automatically when you browse the Inspire Villages website
This includes:
- Your geolocation data. Through the IP address of your computer or via the GPS of your cell phone or tablet, we collect without storing information that reports your approximate or precise location in real time. From your mobile device or computer, you can control or even deactivate the use of location services at any time in the settings.
- Your usage data. The pages you consult, the searches you perform and the reservations you make are all information you agree to provide us with.
Inspire and cookies
A "cookie" is a small permanent text file assigned to and stored on your computer's hard drive or mobile device's memory, via Internet browsers. It is a recognition tool that enables us to identify you in order to facilitate your online browsing, without however selling any information to third parties.
‍
What types of information do we store?
- Your browsing behavior, such as the pages you visit;
- Technical information about your computer, mobile device or tablet, such as your IP address, the operating system you use, the browser you choose or the web address that brought you to our site.
This enables us to further personalize your experience on our website by offering you ever more content likely to be of interest to you. It also enables us to provide you with the highest possible level of service by improving our functionalities.
You will be asked to accept cookies each time you visit our website for the first time. You can delete or reject cookies at any time by referring to the "Help" menu of your browser. This does not change the content of the website, nor does it alter the functionalities offered.

If this is the case, we ensure that this transmitted information is treated with the same level of RGPD compliance requirements applied at Inspire Villages.
Inspire and the protection of your data
Your personal data is stored in Europe and may, if necessary, be passed on to trusted third-party companies outside the EU. In this case, we ensure that these entities comply with European laws on confidentiality and data protection.
As regards your payment data, we are committed to ensuring that they too are protected using the Secure Socket Layer-SSL protocol. Using a secure connection and a dedicated Multiprotocol Label Switching-MPLS network, SSL encrypts and protects your data so that we can manage and transfer it in total security, in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security-PCI DSS standards.
All this is subject to extremely strict procedures designed to prevent any accidental loss, destruction or alteration of your data.
Inspire and the conservation of your data
As a general rule, your personal data is kept for as long as is necessary to properly execute the business agreement between you and us; but also to comply with our legal obligations.
As for data relating to your bookings, this is also kept for as long as is required by legal obligations, particularly in relation to taxation or sales for warranty purposes.
